The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders is a unique all-girls public school founded to educate young women and give them the confidence and skills necessary to succeed in college, in their careers, and in their communities. Our vision is to focus on the whole girl, providing academic and enrichment opportunities that will engage our students, expand their horizons, and give them the tools to achieve their dreams.

GENaustin’s mission is to foster healthy self-esteem in girls by engaging them to explore and define their personal values and to build skills that empower them with confidence and courage to make wise choices. This type of confidence manifests itself in so many important ways, affecting how girls choose friends, who they date, and what choices they make in their education and eventually their careers. GENaustin suggests options during a time in girls’ lives when they begin to feel more of the burdens, rather than the advantages of femininity.

The Ladies Room with Lolis is broadcast on Austin’s KJCE-AM, 1370 on the dial and El Paso’s KHRO–AM. The Ladies Room is a woman’s place on the radio dial.

Latinitas (www.latinitasmagazine.org) is a non-profit publication with outreach programs dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of Latina youth through media and technology. Its vision is that all young Latinas are strong and confident in their own image.
